Senior Content Writer

About the role
  • Play a key role in delivering the company’s content strategy, focusing on a portfolio of comparison sites
  • Produce entertaining, informative, digestible web content for both consumer and business audiences
  • Edit content produced in-house and externally, maintaining our high editorial standards
  • Ensure that content meets the company’s and readers’ needs, and follows our in-house style guide
  • Work with designers to ensure a user-friendly experience for our readers
  • Regularly upload new content to our CMS and ensure existing content is up-to-date and accurate
  • Work closely with SEO and Commercial teams on content ideation with supporting commercial reasoning
  • Develop subject matter expertise in online gambling, online casino and sports betting
  • Manage freelancers to further our own content production capabilities
  • Raise internal awareness and understanding of the importance of high quality branded content
  • Prioritising tasks and manage their time effectively to meet deadlines and work to tight schedules across multiple projects at one time
About you
  • At least 2 years of experience in a content writer role
  • Passion for sports
  • Experience writing long-form, highly researched and engaging content
  • Portfolio available to share (please provide link on CV)
  • Experience editing and proofreading the work of others
  • Proven familiarity with SEO
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Experience in a deadline-driven environment, working across multiple projects
  • Understanding of how content impacts wider performance objectives

Content Manager - International

We're looking for a Content Manager to oversee our content plans and make an immediate impact. If you have experience managing projects, please read on.

About the role
  • Developing and overseeing content plans to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget
  • Predict freelance resource needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • In collaboration with other team members, contribute to a freelancer talent strategy that covers the full freelancer lifecycle, allowing us to make the most of global, scalable resources. Includes developing effective recruitment, onboarding, management and replacement processes covering international content production
  • Track project costs in order to meet budget
  • Keep accurate and timely documentation of content plans to ensure key stakeholders understand delivery progress
  • Refine processes and methods to create improved workflow, including use of automation where possible
  • Develop a very strong understanding of competitor international content strategy and use this to inform our own practices and methods
  • Ensure content & SEO best practices developed within the company are applied
About you
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent organisation skills, to plan the use of people and resources to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
