About the role:
  • Become the go-to leader within the company for ensuring product excellence across our various comparison brands
  • Develop, manage and mentor the company’s fledgling Product team – currently consisting of one Product Delivery Manager
  • Work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure our web products allow successful and profitable expansion – understanding their objectives and challenges and collaborating to distil these into deliverable features
  • Manage and prioritise the Product Backlog to ensure Design, Front End and Back End resource is allocated towards work of highest business value
  • Define, document and iterate on a Product Delivery process that gives everyone in the company transparency as to how we think about and deliver product enhancements
  • Analyse competitors to benchmark the utility of our comparison sites and how well they facilitate growth of key marketing and retention channels

SEO Manager

We're looking for a talented, hands-on SEO specialist to drive forward one of the company’s key comparison brands. Working closely with the Head of SEO, you’ll join an expanding team of marketing specialists and will make an immediate impact on the operation of the business.

About the role:
  • Be responsible for developing and driving the implementation of a global SEO strategy for the brand, maximising performance across multiple markets
  • Create growth plans to drive commercial opportunity, spanning the full SEO spectrum, including content, product, outreach and technical
  • Identify new opportunities, taking inspiration from our own data, competitor analysis and other industry best practice
  • Conduct regular (daily) spot checks using traffic analysis, keyword research and on-page auditing to ensure opportunities are raised and prioritised quickly.
  • Optimise content, ensuring relevant and natural keyword usage and incorporation of semantically relevant search term
  • Technical analysis, using crawling tools such as Screaming Frog & Sitebulb and other third party services (GTMetrix/Ryte +more) along with manual inspection
  • Align and encourage the company’s Product and Development teams to ensure all websites and new pages are optimised from a technical point of view, prioritising search engine indexation and accessibility, internal linking, structured data, media delivery & infrastructure (page speed) when building rich web experiences
  • Work with Analyst and Outreach resources to regularly review work for QA; conducting analysis, making recommendations and providing supporting information to ensure our high standards are consistently met
  • Be the voice of reason when planning link building strategy and content campaigns.   • Support multiple sites across numerous international market/s to allow fine tuning of our global SEO strategy
  • Conduct keyword research across competitors to understand and prioritise SEO opportunities, and suggest appropriate levels of investment to be best in class and align with demand observed from utilising consumer insight
  • Regularly report on SEO progress and performance, using a combination of Google Datastudio, Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush, AHREFs and Accuranker and other first/third party tools and tracking systems
  • Support the Account Managers and Head of SEO with onsite and technical analysis, using crawling software such as Screaming Frog & Sitebulb
  • Create competitor analysis documents focusing on the good and the bad across the suite of competitors to inspire and showcase opportunity

About the role:
  • Work across multiple brands and international markets striving to uphold digital PR best practice globally
  • Work in conjunction with the SEO Analyst, SEO Managers and Head of SEO to determine appropriate outreach plans and topics/content/campaigns to invest in
  • Create best in class competitor analysis documents within and outside of the target industry to demonstrate how successful link building is being performed
  • Utilise third party tools like Buzzsumo, SEMrush, Ahrefs & MajesticSEO to determine the best seeds for content and manage the sourcing of their contact details all the way to communicating with them on a 1-2-1 basis via email or other correspondence platforms. Champion the usage of the insight the tools can provide to establish a fair and methodical process for acquiring new linking opportunities.
